"The friends of Yahya" is an association of children committed to better aware of autism, support their autistic comrades, and encourage inclusion in school and in society. Through awareness -raising actions, workshops, and united events, children learn tolerance, respect for differences and solidarity.
Because everyone has the right to be understood, loved, and listened to.
The association seeks to show that difference is a wealth , and that friendship, listening and respect are values that are learned from an early age.
We believe that each child deserves to be understood, supported and valued , whatever their challenges. By uniting our forces, even small, we can create a fairer, softer and more human for everyone.
"The friends of Yahya" is an association carried by great people who are keen to make things happen. Its mission is to support autistic children , to fight against discrimination and to promote inclusion in schools, leisure and everyday life.
The members of the association are deeply committed and participate in concrete actions: awareness in schools, organization of inclusive activities, artistic creations, united events ... Each initiative is designed to make autism better known , encourage open -mindedness and build a more benevolent society.
The association was created to allow children to become actors in change , by committing to an essential cause: understanding, inclusion and respect for autistic children .
Our main missions are as follows:
Aware of children and adults to autism
We organize workshops, themed days and educational activities to better know autism, explain what the children concerned experience, and break the stereotypes . Awareness starts from an early age, with suitable supports (stories, games, films, discussions, etc.).
Encourage inclusion in schools and leisure
We organize inclusive games and activities so that all children can participate, whatever their way of being, communicating or learning. We also work to make the environment more welcoming: posters with pictograms, calm corners, simplified instructions ...
Support autistic children and their families
Even with our little means, we try to provide support and comfort . This involves messages of friendship, solidarity collections to buy educational or sensory material, or even exchanges between children to create links beyond differences .
Promote the values of tolerance, and of solidarity
Through all our actions, we transmit strong values: listening, benevolence, respect for differences . We believe that a softer and fairer world begins with small gestures, and that even children can make things happen.
